Montagu, a leading private equity firm, focused on healthcare and tech-enablement of essential businesses, is delighted to announce the expansion of its senior leadership team with the appointment of Louise Denning as CFO and Tim Cochrane as Head of the Full Potential Partners (“FPP”), Montagu’s team of operational partners. Louise and Tim will join Montagu in April and May respectively and will both be based in London.
Louise joins Montagu from C. Hoare & Co, where she was CFO for two years. Prior to this, Louise spent four years as Deputy CFO at Tetragon Financial Group Limited, a $2bn closed-ended, listed fund with a diverse portfolio. Louise will take over from Graham Hislop, who is retiring after eighteen years as Finance Director of Montagu.

Tim joins Montagu from Bain & Company, where he was Senior Partner in the Private Equity practice in London and where he spent seventeen years. Prior to this, Tim spent five years at Exxon Mobil Corporation. Tim will lead the FPP team at Montagu, succeeding Mark Dunfoy who will focus on new investments, the portfolio and board roles.
Working in partnership with management, Montagu’s FPP team supports each portfolio company to establish the right value creation initiatives and drive growth. This is built around seven core levers; sales execution, new products and services, new geographies, tech-enablement, operational improvements, carve-outs, and M&A.

The provision of world class operating partner support for Montagu’s portfolio has been in place since 2007.
