Montagu bolsters ESG team

Montagu, a leading European private equity firm, is delighted to announce the expansion of its ESG team with the appointment of Kim Woehl as ESG Manager. Kim joins Montagu from PwC and will be based in London.

Kim brings substantial experience in relation to the broader ESG agenda. Before joining Montagu, Kim worked for over four years as a manager at PwC’s Sustainability and Climate Change practice, where she focused on responsible investment, ESG and impact measurement. Prior to PwC, Kim spent over four years as a senior research analyst at Trucost, an environmental data and risk analysis provider.

ESG considerations represent a core part of Montagu’s investment philosophy and are embedded within every stage of the firm’s investment process. The appointment of Kim marks the latest step in Montagu’s long-running commitment to building an industry-leading ESG programme. Montagu works closely with its portfolio companies to meet ESG objectives and targets, and last year updated its investment policy and monitoring processes to reflect its enhanced ambitions, particularly on climate, and diversity & inclusion.
